She was encouraged in the arts by her parents and found her passion at a young age. She is a graduate TAMUCC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Minor in Art History. She has been featured in several South Texas Exhibitions and two national exhibits.
While Joanna's strongest passion in the arts has been drawing and painting, she also enjoys exploring metalwork and ceramics. She is an active participate in the yearly VASE competitions held across the state of Texas. She is honored to be a judge in these competitions and interviewing the kids and hearing them speak about their works is her favorite part of the entire process. Encouraging the next generation of artists and guiding them on their journey is something Joanna is very proud of. For the last three years, Joanna has been working and living in San Antonio, Texas. In 2019 she started working at Inspire Fine Art Center where she taught at risk teen girls through a community outreach program with the Selena Center for Youth Potential as well as helped in the free community outreach programs to bring the arts to children young and old in the underprivileged areas of San Antonio. Unfortunately due to a loss of finical assistance due to COVID-19 Inspire was forced to permanently close their doors in May of 2020. |

Instagram- @andrewmalczewski Store - https://collaborativecouple.bigcartel.com/ Andrew was born and raised north of Chicago, Illinois. In the Midwest he developed his love of art and found his calling as a sculptor working as a studio assistant and fabricator. He decided to pursue a formal education as a way to deepen his understanding in the arts and received his Bachelor of Fine Art from Northern Illinois University and his Masters from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. For the past four years Andrew has been a working and living in San Antonio. At the start of 2019 he became an instructor at Inspire Fine Art center where he taught intermediate and advanced welding courses. He was privileged to be part of their community outreach classes to help bring art education to underprivileged areas of San Antonio. Unfortunately due to a loss of finical assistance due to COVID-19 Inspire was forced to permanently close their doors in May of 2020. At the beginning of 2020 he accepted the roll of Woodshop manger at Texas State in San Marcus. He has been active in improving the wood shop experience for students and faculty, and he has had the pleasure of working when needed as a Gallery Tec at Blue Star Contemporary Art Gallery. In addition to this work Andrew produces and co-hosts the podcast Artsplanations with his Fiancée, contracts as a fabricator, and accepts private commissions for drawings, paintings, sculptures and ceramics. |
